Homemade biscotti is nothing like what you've tasted in a coffee shop or grocery store. Biscotti are a perfect ending to a great meal, especially with an espresso. You will love this sweet snack that's lower in fat and sugar than most cookies, and they are packed with heart-healthy nuts. Biscotti can be frozen and defrosted in the open air so none go to waste. They also make great gifts.

This class is open to those who are new to yoga. Classes are a combination of gentle stretches, simple yoga poses, and breathing techniques. Practicing yoga has many benefits: it helps reduce stress and promotes flexibility, strength, range of motion and balance.

Be sure to wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely and bring a yoga mat. Yoga is practiced in bare feet.

Get on the fast track to an interview in this three-day training! The course is designed to expose students to the plastics and composites manufacturing processes. Students will learn what skills are needed for a career in plastics/composites production, as well as what a typical workday looks like in the manufacturing process. Students will also learn how to write a resume, develop interviewing skills, and how to stand out among applicants. All students are guaranteed an interview with Wirthwein.

In partnership with CarolinaEast, we now offer Environmental Services (EVS)/Housekeeping training. This course is designed to expose students to the requirements of serving as an EVS/Housekeeping employee in the hospital environment. While many cleaning procedures may be the same as working in other high-traffic settings, there are requirements and regulations that are unique to working in a healthcare environment. Additionally, this course will focus on soft skills that will ensure an employee knows what the expectations are for working in the hospital environment.
