In this online course, you will gain the basic skills and general knowledge needed to begin a career as a process technician for a biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or chemical manufacturing company. Process technicians work in manufacturing environments and have a wide variety of responsibilities in all stages of the manufacturing process. Tasks may include operating equipment, documenting and analyzing data, monitoring machinery, and improving manufacturing processes. This 8-hour course is designed to certify law enforcement personnel in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and Basic First Aid through the American Heart Association.

Course fee is waived for all sworn/affiliated NC Law Enforcement Officers. However, an $18 fee is required to obtain the certification card.
