Our Forest Worker training program, offered in partnership with the NC Forestry Association and credentialed through ForestryWorks, includes tree identification, safe equipment handling, and understanding forest management practices. With high demand for forestry professionals across North Carolina and beyond, this training provides valuable experience for one of the state’s most important industries!

This course is designed for instructional areas related to property and casualty insurance topics to meet the pre-licensing education requirements for insurance agents as prescribed by the North Carolina Department of Insurance - Agent Services Division. Course topics include terms and concepts, North Carolina Insurance Law, and multiple areas within P&C. The course intent is to prepare students to take and pass the NC Department of Insurance - Property & Casualty Insurance license exams.

The CDL Passenger Endorsement course will provide you with training to inspect and operate any CMVs, and to assume driving responsibilities on the road. Emphasis is placed on vehicle inspections, defensive driving, range maneuvers, motor carrier safety regulations, trip planning, cargo planning, size/weight laws, general maintenance procedures, and hours of service and accident prevention.

Students will receive hands-on training and learn the fundamentals of flight, navigation, safety protocols, and flying techniques using NIST UAS training and evaluation standards. This course is ideal for public safety teams and organizations seeking measurable pilot proficiency.

Course cost is reduced to $25.60 for sworn/affiliated NC Law Enforcement Officers and EMS/Fire & Rescue personnel with eligible waiver.

This course is designed as a follow-up from obtaining the FAA Part 107 Certificate that will help participants conduct safe and legal UAS operations with a focus on building SOPs, checklists, crew management practices, flight logging, maintenance, inspections, and obtaining FAA waivers and airspace authorizations.

Course cost is $25.60 with for sworn/affiliated NC Law Enforcement Officers or EMS/Fire & Rescue personnel with eligible waiver.

Students will receive specialized training in thermal imaging operations for fire, search and rescue, and law enforcement using scenario-based missions. This course incorporates UAS NIST standards with thermal targets.
