This year’s theme, Ignite Potential, Invest in Dreams, reflects what the College Foundation represents. We’re not just helping students pay for or a class or get through a tough week; we’re reigniting their belief in themselves and showing them that their potential is worth an investment.

For over 48 years, the Craven Community College Foundation has supported the College's vision of higher education for the residents of Craven County and beyond. Established in 1977, the Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides financial support to students through scholarships and funding for programs, equipment, new and emerging initiatives, facilities, and other priorities on the New Bern, Havelock, and Volt Center campuses. The Foundation is committed to this mission and will continue to ensure that our students have the financial support they need to reach their educational goals.

In fiscal year 2025, the Foundation assisted 2,820 students with direct funding to ensure they could continue their studies. We provided funding for tuition, fees, books, required course materials, testing, and emergency needs for students. The Foundation has over $640,000 available for student assistance for the 2025-26 academic year.
