Health Information Technology

Our Health Information Technology (HIT) program is a perfect fit if you’re interested in working in the healthcare field but not directly with patients. This program incorporates clinical, information technology, leadership, and management skills and explores the digital/computer side of health care.

The HIT program is offered in a synchronous online hybrid format. This format gives students the option to attend the scheduled live lectures and labs in the classroom or remotely with a web camera. With more employers transitioning to a similar format, the HIT program has adapted this flexibility of attending in-person as needed, or remotely as needed, during the scheduled class times for the more intense courses. The program also contains two opportunities for clinical experience, which is done in person.
