Program Description

Students learn the important things they need to function in the health care office, including medical terminology, coding, document production and legal issues. They also learn critical office skills, including word processing, text entry, spreadsheets and management.
Craven’s Medical Office Administration program offers several options pathways, including the two-year associate’s degree with concentrations in General Studies, Medical Billing/Coding or Patient Services Representative, a diploma program and certificates with concentrations in General Studies, Medical Billing/Coding or Patient Services Representative.
