The Twin Rivers Branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) recently presented a $1,000 check to Grace Beauchamp, winner of the 2020 Scholarship Award. Beauchamp is a student in the Mechanical Engineering program. Scholarship candidates are women participating in the Craven Community College STEM program.
AAUW is a national organization established in 1881 by female college graduates who wished to advance equality for women and girls with an emphasis on education. The local Branch was founded in 1997.
