NEW BERN – Craven Community College was recently ranked #21 on the Guide to Online Schools list of 2020 Best Online Community Colleges in North Carolina. Each community college was ranked by several important factors, including retention rate, graduation rate, percentage of online enrollment data, and the number of fully online associate degrees and certificates offered.
Craven CC currently offers more than 50 online degree and certificate programs in various categories, including liberal arts, business technology, criminal justice, early childhood education, and information technology. Students can select from over 200 online classes and earn certificates and diplomas in business, health, criminal justice, early childhood education, and information technology. Coursework is delivered through the Moodle online learning management system, and computers are available for student use at Craven CC’s New Bern and Havelock campuses.
Guide to Online Schools has been publishing rankings of online colleges since 2009 and awarding scholarships since 2010.
