The Craven Community College (Craven CC) Foundation recently received a $10,000 donation from the Dereck Whittenburg Foundation. This contribution will directly benefit students in Craven CC’s Nursing and Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program, helping them pursue their dreams of entering the healthcare profession and serving the community.

The Whittenburg Foundation, located in Raleigh, has a strong commitment to education and student success that closely aligns with Craven’s mission to empower and uplift students as they prepare for meaningful careers. This generous donation will significantly reduce financial barriers for aspiring nurses and PTAs.

The Craven CC Foundation also extends a heartfelt thank you to Robinson and Stith Insurance for their role in facilitating this transformative gift. Their support and generosity continue to have a lasting impact on Craven students and the broader community.

As Craven CC celebrates 60 years of educational excellence, support from these community partners strengthens our foundation and paves the way for a brighter future.

Members of the Whittenburg Foundation and Craven Community College Foundation, Health Sciences staff, and two male students post with a large check for $10,000
