Craven Community College Machining Program Receives $14K in Scholarships from Gene Haas Foundation

NEW BERN – Craven Community College (Craven CC) received a donation of $14K from the Gene Haas Foundation to provide scholarships for students in the machining program.

"The Gene Haas Foundation has a great relationship with us and the community," said Ricky Meadows, Craven CC dean of Career and Technical Programs. "They are instrumental in the training and hiring of skilled labor in our area, and our students will certainly benefit from their investment in Craven County."

Craven CC has received over $34K from the Gene Haas Foundation since 2022 to benefit students in Career and Technical Programs.
