Golfing for Beginners

Course Code: CSP-BEGGOLF

Under the instruction and guidance of professional golfer, Phil Buzzelli, students will be introduced to USGA rules, the game history and evolution of the modern swing, equipment, and clothing used today. The goals each week will focus on:

  • Building and developing a golf swing
  • Swing and body turn coordination to make solid contact repetitive
  • Learning to hit fairway woods and the driver
  • Putting it all together (i.e. pre-shot routine, strategy, club and shot determination, middle irons and hybrids swing mechanics, different swing systems/techniques/grips to fit  and finding that swing/grip for you).

The final week concludes with an explanation/demonstration by Phil, followed by the student's execution of full shots. Students should wear golfing or athletic attire and bring clubs if they have them.

Please note: This class will be held at the Emerald Golf Club.
