To celebrate 60 years of “Deep Roots, Strong Futures,” we’re inviting students and employees to be part of a unique moment in our history by contributing to a time capsule!

Our yearlong 60th anniversary celebration honors where we’ve been and where we’re headed. As part of the festivities, we’re collecting small items (polaroids, stickers, mementos) and handwritten notes of encouragement from students to seal inside a time capsule to be opened by future Craven students and employees. Craven Machining students are building the time capsule, which will be on display during the 60th Anniversary Open House on July 1.

📍 How to Participate
Submit a small item or an encouraging note that represents your time at Craven, your hopes for the future, or words of wisdom to future students.

Please note: Space is limited - not all items will be included in the capsule. Items that are not selected will not be returned.

📍 Drop-off Deadline: Wednesday, June 18

📍 Drop-off Locations:

  • New Bern Campus: Campus Life Office, Ward Hall
  • Havelock Campus: Sylvia King, Redd Building

🗓️  Time Capsule Sealing: Tuesday, July 1
