Craven Community College received two National Council for Marketing and Public Relations (NCMPR) Medallion Awards for a story and brochure that were entered in the District 2 competition. The awards were presented during the annual conference, held Sept. 30 in Atlanta.

Craven CC won a silver in the Excellence in Writing category and a bronze in the Brochure (single or series) category. The second-place writing award was for a story written by Craig Ramey about the Job Readiness Boot camp entitled “Job Readiness Boot Camp delivers hope for the holidays.”  The third-place brochure, entitled “Take the Next Step,” is a recruiting piece designed by Meredith Laskovics that outlines Craven CC programs and general information for prospective students.
