This 500-clock hour course is designed for students to ride with local rescue squads or ambulance services to hone the skills learned in the classroom. The North Carolina Office of Emergency Medical Sciences requires this of all paramedic students. Students who complete our Paramedic certificate program may be eligible to transfer credits into Carteret Community College’s Associate in Applied Science in Emergency Medical Science Bridge degree program.
