Our Commercial Driver License (CDL) program will provide you with an excellent foundation for a truck driving career. You'll be tested thoroughly both on the road and through written exams to make sure you have the necessary skills and knowledge to successfully and safely operate commercial vehicles.

If you're looking for a career that helps people look their best, our Barbering Concepts program will assist you in becoming a professional barber-stylist. Upon completion, you’ll be prepared to take the North Carolina Board of Barbering Examiners exam to qualify as an apprentice.

This course prepares students to provide massage therapy for all clients including special populations. During this 660-hour course, students obtain a strong foundation in Swedish massage and therapeutic deep tissue work. In addition to the hands-on applications, students are taught basic anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, pathology, somatic psychology, assessment skills, business management, and ethics. This course includes a clinical component where students will gain experience working directly with clients. Upon successful completion of this course, students will be eligible to take the Massage & Bodywork Licensing Examination (MBLEx). After a passing score on the MBLEx, students will be able to apply for licensure with the North Carolina Board of Massage & Bodywork Therapy and begin their professional career as a Licensed Massage & Bodywork Therapist (LMBT).

Do you have a sweet tooth? Would you like to learn how to make traditional French pastries? Chef Mayte from Mayte Sweets will show you how to make Eclairs and Profiteroles filled with Pastry Cream, Chocolate Glaze and a Fruit Tart with Pastry Cream. This course consists of 2 Monday evening classes. During the first class you will learn how to prepare Pâté à Choux (classic French dough) used to make the eclairs and profiteroles, and Pâte Sucree (sweetened enriched short-flake crust) to make the fruit tart. Designed for scouts, scout leaders, outdoor enthusiasts, and anyone who works or spends time in remote environments. This course teaches advanced skills to be used in emergencies when help from Emergency Medical Personnel may be too far away. This course is open to adults & youth (age 16 & up). A CPR/AED certificate is required but can be provided during the course.You will receive a Wilderness First Aid certification and CPR/AED if applicable.
