The Basic Hydraulics training course covers hydraulic principles of mechanical maintenance, types of hydraulic fluids and their characteristics. Describes components of the hydraulic system and their functions for maintenance procedures, including filters and strainers, reservoirs and accumulators, pumps, piping, tubing and hoses, control valves, relief valves, and actuating devices. This hydraulics course covers a variety of cylinders and training on hydraulic system components. This course has no prerequisites.

This course introduces students to troubleshooting techniques on hydraulics systems and how to logically and systematically isolate faults and failures within a hydraulics system. This course is a 40-hour designed to provide training in topics related to criminal investigation. Course topics may include, but are not limited to, basic criminal investigation, arson investigation, crime scene investigation, abuse investigation, drug investigations, evidence and case management, gambling investigations, interview and interrogation, sex crimes investigation, crime analysis, fraud investigation, fingerprinting, covert operations, gang activity investigations, cyber crime investigations, photography techniques and photographic evidence, auto theft investigation, psychological profiling, and developing and managing confidential sources. This course is fee waivered to all sworn and or affiliated Law Enforcement Officers.
